PPC blue: 54 Charging Points at Greece’s Largest Ski Resorts
A total of 54 charging points are now in operation at seven of the country’s largest ski resorts, as part of the expansion of PPC blue’s publicly accessible charging network and the strengthening of e-mobility infrastructure in popular mountain and winter destinations. The network expansion covers the ski resorts of Parnassos, Voras, Vasilitsa, Ziria, Kalavryta, 3-5 Pigadia and Seli.
Specifically, at Seli Ski Resort, 12 AC charging points and 4 DC fast charging points are in operation, while at Vasilitsa and 3-5 Pigadia Ski Resorts, 6 AC charging points and 4 DC fast charging points have been installed at each location. In addition, at Parnassos Ski Resort and Voras Ski Resort, 2 AC charging points and 2 DC fast charging points are available at each site. Finally, 2 AC charging points operate at Ziria Ski Resort, while 8 AC charging points are available at Kalavryta Ski Resort. By installing AC and DC fast chargers at some of the most popular winter destinations, PPC blue addresses the diverse needs of electric vehicle drivers in areas of increased demand during the winter season.
Through the PPC blue app, available on iOS and Android, members can quickly and easily locate the most suitable charger, check real-time availability and reserve DC fast chargers. At the same time, they benefit from privileges, special offers and reward schemes. In addition, through the PPC blueTrips feature, electric vehicle drivers can more effectively plan their winter journeys, scheduling charging points and charging time throughout their trip.
The development of the PPC blue charging network at ski resorts further strengthens the connection between e-mobility and mountain tourism and forms part of PPC’s broader strategy to expand charging infrastructure beyond major urban centers.
